The 7-Day Livet Reset
Seven days, plainly. Read it through once before you start, then take it a day at a time.
Before you begin
This is a reset, not a fast. You will eat. What changes is what you eat, how much water you drink, and how much attention you pay to what your body is telling you.
Two things make the difference between people who finish and people who stop on day three: drinking more water than feels necessary, and telling someone you have started. That is genuinely most of it.
The goal is awareness, not perfection. A day that goes badly is information, not failure.
Day 1
Clear the deck
Today is about removing, not adding. Take out the four things that do the most work against a reset: added sugar, alcohol, fried food, and anything you drink that has calories in it other than juice.
- Start with warm water and lemon before anything else.
- Eat when you are hungry — vegetables, fruit, whole grains, clean protein.
- Aim for three litres of water across the day.
- Write down how you feel at night. One line is enough.
Day 2
The first shift
Most people notice something today — often a mild headache in the afternoon, sometimes unusual clarity in the morning. Both are common as caffeine and sugar step back.
- If a headache comes, drink more water before reaching for anything else.
- Keep meals simple. This is not the week for complicated cooking.
- Walk for twenty minutes. Not a workout — a walk.
Day 3
The hard one
We tell every client the same thing: day three is the day you will want to quit. Energy usually dips before it lifts, and the cravings are loudest right about now.
This is not a sign it is going wrong. It is the most predictable day of the whole week.
- Eat something warm. Soup does more for a craving than willpower does.
- Go to bed early. Day three is not the day to test yourself.
- Message someone. This is the day the WhatsApp line exists for.
If you get through day three, you will almost certainly finish the week.
Day 4
Digestion finds a rhythm
Things usually start settling here. Many people report feeling less bloated after meals and more regular than they were at the start of the week.
- Add something fermented — water kefir, or another live culture you like.
- Chew more slowly than usual. It sounds trivial. It is not.
- Keep the water up. It is the thing people quietly stop doing on day four.
Day 5
Energy comes back
The dip usually lifts around now, and it tends to arrive as steadiness rather than a surge — fewer crashes in the afternoon rather than more energy overall.
- Move properly today if you feel like it. Follow the energy, do not force it.
- Notice what time you got hungry. That pattern is worth knowing.
Day 6
Sleep and the nervous system
Sleep is often the change people mention most, and it is the one that matters most for what comes next. Your nervous system does its repair work while you are unconscious.
- Screens down an hour before bed. Same time tonight and tomorrow.
- Get daylight on your face within an hour of waking.
- Note how many times you woke in the night compared to last Sunday.
Day 7
What you actually learned
The week is not the point. What you learned about your own patterns is the point. Before you go back to normal, write down the answers to three questions.
- Which day was hardest, and what specifically made it hard?
- What changed that you did not expect?
- What one thing from this week would you keep permanently?
Whatever you keep — keep just that one thing. People who change one habit hold it. People who change nine hold none.
Worth knowing
The three mistakes that end most resets
- Not drinking enough waterYou are asking your body to move things along. Water is what moves them. Almost every bad day-three we hear about traces back to this.
- Starting on a busy weekIf day three lands on a deadline or a party, it will win. Start on a week you control.
- Doing it silentlyPeople who tell one person finish far more often than people who tell nobody. It is the least scientific thing in this guide and the most reliable.
